ちょっとまだサッカーのドイツ戦の興奮から覚めていないので、
この話題で見かけた言葉をちょっと取り上げてみます。

「（スポーツで）あるチームがはるかに弱い相手に敗北すること」
語源は聖書のDavid とGoliathの話なんですね。
upset 名詞では『番狂わせ』
An unexpected victory of a competitor or candidate that was not favored to win.
