大谷翔平選手、ホームラン打ち始めました！
それにしても、
大谷選手のホームランの打球音は他と違うと感じている人が多いですね。
そういう英語コメントを集めて訳してみました。
例えば、Xに大谷選手の今シーズン第一号ホームランについて、こんなコメントが出ていました。

バットの音についてのコメントが多くありました。

あの音は中毒性がある。私の人生で聞いた最高の打球音かもしれない。
＊crack には『裂け目、割れ目』のような意味も有りますが、（鞭で）パシッと打つ音や、（銃の）パンという発射音の意味にも有ります。大谷選手のホームランの打撃音は、銃の発射音に近いかもしれませんね。ここでは野球なので『打撃音』と訳すことにします。

As someone who never played baseball I’ve always wondered what makes that sound so different on different hits? Is it the hitters power? Contact with the ball? Timing?
野球をやったことのない私は、いつも不思議に思っていた。打者のパワーなのか？ ボールとのコンタクト？ タイミングか？
