英語で『消化器系』はdigestive systemやalimentary system と言います。
また、gastrointestinal systemも『消化器系、胃腸系』の意味で用いられます。
digestive は『消化の、消化を助ける』で、alimentaryは『食物の、消化の、栄養の』、gastrointestinal は『胃腸の』の意味になります。
『消化管』は digestive canal (tract)や alimentary canal (tract) と言うそうです。
canal には『運河』の意味も有りますが、生物体内の『管』の意味にもなります。
tract もこの場合は『管』の意味です。
消化管を英語で説明すると、こんな感じです。
The digestive tract is the single tube that runs from the mouth to the anus and includes the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine.
「消化管は口から肛門まで続く一本の管で、食道、胃、小腸、大腸を含みます。」
『食道』esophagus、 『胃』stomach、
『小腸』small intestine、『大腸』large intestine

『消化器外科』は Gastrointestinal Surgery だそうです。
