『自家不和合性』とは、雌雄同株の植物で、自家受粉では受精しない性質のこと。
英語では self-incompatibility と言うそうです。
『自家不和合性の』はself-incompatible です。
All Someiyoshino are clones with the same genes and are self-incompatible, which means that they cannot produce seeds by self-pollination.
Therefore, it cannot be propagated by seed, but only by grafting or cuttings.
ソメイヨシノはすべて同じ遺伝子を持つクローンで自家不和合性です。そのため、種子による繁殖はできず、接ぎ木か挿し木により繁殖させるしかありません。
難しい講釈はともかく今年もサクラはきれいでした。
