日本の『介護保険』の英語名は Long-term Care Insurance だそうです。
厚生労働省（Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare）のウェブサイトに
日本の介護保険について英語での説明があり、
Long-term Care Insurance in Japan のタイトルになっています。
ここには介護保険の目的について
Aims of Establishing Long-term Care Insurance
To establish a system which responds to society’s major concern about aging, the care problem, whereby citizens can be assured that they will receive care and be supported by society as a whole.
のように書かれています。
「介護保険創設のねらい
高齢化社会の大きな課題である介護問題に対応し、社会全体で支え、国民が安心して介護を受けられる制度を構築する。」ということですね。
ついでに言うと
『介護保険制度』は Long-term Care Insurance System 、
『介護保険料』は Premiums for long-term care insurance のように記述されています。
高齢化社会なので大変ですが、
厚生労働省や自治体など協力してうまく運用していってほしいです。
